He is just 25, born in Sri Lanka and known as Dj Spike has been dj-ing for the past 9 years. His style is very versatile and energetic with some unique scratching and trick mixing techniques as well .He creates melodic mixing combining Hip hop & Dance flavors. It seems that slowly the electric and disco scenes are being influence and blended with his skillful Music flow, and the cut up sounds.He usually plays a mixture of the new and old releases and upcoming stuffs with some classic tunes from the music fields in many languages.
He is currently studying sound engineering at the SAE College and it keeps him away busy. Studying for this degree has had a major impact on the quality of his music career, It has set him up with a lot of musicians who worked with him on various projects. One discipline in the study is experimental. According to him, it is a great thing to learn electronic music and some times it is much better to work on tracks without the approach so that anyone can focus on beats groovies , acoustic, dub global to electro break beats samples modulating and the abuse of plugging without getting lost creating melodies/harmonies.
